A Southampton woman’s dream wedding has been left hanging in the balance following the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé.
Charlotte, 35, met her husband-to-be Johan, 21, at a hotel resort in the Dominican Republic.
Appearing on series three of Discovery+ programme 90 Day Fiancé, Charlotte – who is a barber of 18 years – hopes to wed the man of her dreams who lives more than 4,350 miles away, despite the concerns of her family and friends.
Having first aired in May with a new episode available each week, the latest episodes show Charlotte gearing up for the big day, with an increasingly nervous Johan.
Having brought the wedding forward after the passing of her father and the fact that she wants to start a family with Johan, episode 10 shows Charlotte anxiously waiting outside her hotel for Johan’s uncle, who’s running late to take the bride, her mother, and best friend to the wedding.

“I’m feeling really anxious, I just want her to be happy and to have a nice life, but it seems to be not the norm,” said Charlotte’s mum, reflecting on her daughter’s impending wedding.
“I think she’s absolutely crazy, I mean to do this, she must have a lot of guts because I wouldn’t do it and I’ve been married three times.”
Charlotte is finally chauffeured to her wedding venue that she described as looking like a “prison” when passing the mustard-coloured building in the car, before her mum added: “It looks like a dole office, it looks horrific.”
The episode ends with Charlotte missing her appointment time of 11am, with Johan nowhere to be seen.
Charlotte said: “I want to get hold of Johan and shake him; I am so annoyed.
“This is the biggest day of our life, and he can’t even get there on time.”
The episode ends on a cliffhanger with viewers having to wait until next week to find if Charlotte will finally marry her holiday romance.
