A man has died following a suspected medical incident in Millbrook.
An air ambulance, police and paramedics were seen on Wimpson Lane yesterday evening (17 August).
This morning, police have confirmed what happened.
Their statement said: "We were called just after 5:45pm on Saturday 17 August with reports of a possible medical incident on Wimpson Lane in"Officers and South Central Ambulance Service attended, but despite best efforts from emergency workers, a 72 year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The man’s next of kin have been informed, and a file is being prepared for the coroner."

A resident of Wimpson Lane, who witnessed the incident first hand, told the Echo of her shock.
Speaking ahead of the news that the man had died, she said: “We looked out the window and saw people doing CPR opposite to where we live.
“Me and my partner both work for the NHS so we were getting our shoes on ready to go and help when an ambulance turned up.
“People at the scene were so distraught – it looked like something very serious had happened.
“We were getting very worried and then an air ambulance also circled above us.
“We were told that it had landed near Tesco."
She added: "I’m not sure exactly what was going on but I really hope whoever is involved is ok."
