Police have discovered a body in the search for a missing Southampton man.
Yesterday officers launched an appeal to find 31-year-old Samuel Croucher, who was last seen at Coachmans Copse at around 10am on Tuesday, September 17.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary has now confirmed a body of a man has been discovered in the Southampton area.

In a statement, the police spokesperson said: “Officers searching for missing Samuel Croucher from Southampton have sadly discovered the body of a man in the Southampton area.
“Formal identification has not yet taken place, but Samuel’s family have been informed and are being supported by police.
“Officers will now prepare a file for the coroner.”
The spokesperson added: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who shared our appeals. Our thoughts are with Samuel's family.”
