A new batch of public notices advertising planning applications, road closures and other schemes has been published.

Public notices are placed by councils and other local authorities to tell people about proposed changes taking place in their area.

Southampton Road closures:

Britannia Road will be closed southbound from Northam Road to Rochester Road from November 3 (5.30am-Noon) for signal maintenance. The works are due to be completed by November 4.

Tenterton Avenue will be closed from its junction with Newtown Road to 30 metres east of the junction from October 30 (9.30am-3.30pm) for the installation of a telecoms pole. The works are due to be completed by October 31. 

Bassett Avenue will be closed from its junction with Memorial Roundabout to its junction with Avenue/Burgess Road from October 28 (10am-2pm) for tree safety work. The works are due to be completed by October 29.

Tickleford Drive will be closed from Newtown Road to Wadhurst Gardens from October 28 (8am-4pm) for carriageway repairs. The works are due to be completed by October 30.

Victor Street will be closed from its junction with Church Street to 20 metres west of Ridding Close from October 28 (10am-4pm) for manhole repairs. The works are due to be completed by October 29.

Valentine Road will be closed from Elgar Road to Botley Road from October 29 (9.30am-3.30pm) for the installations of a telecoms pole. The works are due to be completed by October 30.
