Aldi's new Totton store is set to open in two weeks.
The ribbon will be cut to declare the store open by Paralympic gold medallist and local resident Aaron Phipps and the new Aldi team on Thursday December 12.
The store, on previously undeveloped Little Testwood farmland next to AFC Totton and Totton and Eling FC, which occupy adjoining sites at Salisbury Road in Calmore, has created 25 jobs.

The new store will offer fresh, British meat products with weekly offers, Aldi’s award-winning ‘Specially Selected’ range, exclusive beers, wines and spirits and a 'good to go' section at the front of the store.
Aldi’s legendary Specialbuys will also be available in the middle aisle every Thursday and Sunday, offering great value on a wide range of products, from electrical items to garden tools.
Wheelchair rugby star Aaron, who is celebrating Aldi's partnership with ParalympicsGB, will give away complimentary bags of fresh fruit and vegetables from Aldi's famous Super 6 range to the first 30 customers in the queue on opening morning.
To celebrate the partnership between ParalympicsGB and Aldi, Dan Jollie and his team will be joined by Paralympic gold medallist Aaron Phipps to celebrate the store opening by cutting the all-important ribbon on opening morning.
Aaron will also give away complimentary bags of fresh fruit and vegetables from Aldi’s famous Super 6 range to the first 30 customers in the queue.
Staff are also calling on local charities and food banks in Totton to register with Neighbourly, a community engagement platform that links businesses to charitable organisations in the local community.
Local charities that register will be able to collect surplus food and perishable products, such as fruit, vegetables and baked goods, seven days a week.
New Forest District Council approved the new store in December 2022. It was due to open in August, but was delayed by highway works.
Aldi Totton will be open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 10pm and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
