SPORTS personality Steve Davis swapped snooker frames for window frames after a Hampshire company won his services for the day.
The six-times world champion needed more than the odd trick shot to help him as he became an apprentice window fitter with Fareham home improvement firm KJN.
Steve started the day doing what he does best, challenging shoppers at Fareham Shopping Centre to a few frames of pool and hosting the company’s raffle, which raised more than £600 for Naomi House children’s hospice.
But he was taken out of his comfort zone in the afternoon, when he swapped snooker frames for window frames, helping to fit a window for one lucky customer.
Steve said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as an apprentice window fitter. I like to think I know a lot about winning frames.”
