A NEW trophy, a new name to go on the Bowl honours board and a local derby to boot.
The final of the Hampshire Gales Bowl has just about everything as Alton take on Petersfield in the all-eastern clash tomorrow (3pm).
They will meet for the first time in competitive action next season with Alton slumping into London Four South-West next season to join their Penns Place rivals.
But there is a certain amount of pride about this tie, especially with the bragging rights and an upper hand to be gained ahead of September.
The home side, led by former Petersfield skipper Kevin Wilson, have been buoyed by some decent results of late, although it was not enough to save them, and name a full strength outfit that is only minus two regulars.
Petersfield are spoilt for choice, but go without Hampshire Under-20 absentees Mark Turner and Ben Chesney, who are both in action in Oxfordshire on Sunday.
