AN eviction notice is being sought after travellers moved onto a former coach park next to a special needs school in Southampton.
Travellers removed a gate and parked up three caravans and three large vans on the site adjoining the Rosewood School in Aldermoor Road.
Officials from the city council which owns the land have warned the travellers that they are trespassing and are compiling evidence to evict them. They want police to use powers under the public order act because of the sensitive location.
Bosses of the Rose Road Association which runs the school, said they were leaving the matter to the authorities.
