A man has died seven days after falling from his bicycle in the New Forest.
Richard Fisher, 55, was cycling along the road to the New Forest Reptile Centre near Lyndhurst, on August 17 when the accident happened.
For reasons that have yet to be established, Mr Fisher lost control of his bike and fell off, hitting his head on a cattle grid.
Mr Fisher, of Harrow, Middlesex, was taken to Southampton General Hospital with severe head injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, in particular the person who helped Mr Fisher at the scene and arranged to store his bicycle.
