A FURTHER £6.5m of taxpayers’ money could be ploughed into the Rose Bowl cricket ground, a confidential report leaked to the Daily Echo reveals.

The council document claimed that without taxpayers’ cash and other investment the Rose Bowl would “almost inevitably go into administration.”
And the Echo can reveal new plans for a £30m hotel for the site are on the table.
Last night the Rose Bowl said that since the report was written its financial situation had changed.
