Village's fete banner stolen
THIEVES have stolen a distinctive purple banner advertising a village fete.
The banner, valued at £90, was put up last Thursday on railings by the war memorial in Awbridge. It was last seen at 8pm that evening.
Village fete organiser Peter Allen said he would offer a reward for any information which led to conviction of the thief.
Anyone with information should call Romsey police on 101.
