A POWER cut has left almost 1,000 homes in Bevois Valley and the Northam Estate without power.
Residents have been left without electricity since 3.50pm today.
Providers, Scotland and Central Southern England are currently working to fix the issue which it believes has been caused by a fault in the main network.
Engineers are currently working to reset the network and hope to restored the power to the 995 affected properties by 5.45pm.
A Scotland and Central Southern England spokeswoman said: “We are still investigating the cause of the fault and we would like to apologise to our customers for any inconvenience and thank them for their patients.”
