Hamble Community Sports College, located in Southampton, is a successful and thriving specialist sports College. With approximately 1000 students (11-16 years) and a growing post-16 provision, we are a true comprehensive with the highest of expectations for every student. Whilst the majority of students live in the local community, an ever increasing number travel to the College from outlying areas. We pride ourselves on our positive impact as a community hub, operating a fully extended day supporting the community with opportunities for students and learners of all ages and abilities.

The last four years has seen significant improvement with 5+A*-C GCSE increasing from 46% to 71% (an improvement of 25%) and 5+A*-C GCSE including English and Maths increasing from 36% to 55% (an improvement of 19%). The College is now in the top 10% of similar schools nationally for achievement and progress in key areas. The progress made in Maths and English is regarded as Outstanding.

Our Campus is unique for a secondary school; with outstanding sporting and educational facilities. We have a sports centre, extensive playing fields, state of the art Olympic specification gymnastics facility, 20m heated indoor swimming pool, cardio and dance studio all-weather pitch, a sports massage room and floodlit tennis and netball courts, we are able to accommodate students and the community with incredible opportunities both in the College day and beyond.
