BLUE Square Bet National outfit Luton Town have announced that up-and-coming Hatters centre-back Alex Lacey has joined Eastleigh on a month’s loan.
The deal, yet to be confirmed by the Spitfires, follows news that the Stoneham Lane club will allow defender Osei Sankofa to leave on a free transfer.
Lacey, 19, made his full Luton debut in the FA Trophy in December 2010 and has since been sent on loan to Cambridge City, Thurrock and Eastbourne Borough to gain first-team experience.
Hatters boss Paul Buckle recalled him to the first-team squad for the final month of last season and he signed a new two-year contract in June.
