BEN Wright has penned a two-year deal for Gosport Borough.
The well-travelled former Eastleigh striker has completed a move from National League South rivals Maidenhead United and signed a two-year deal at the Aerial Direct Stadium.
Basingstoke-based Wright joins a potent-looking Borough strike force already supplemented by Warren Bentley (Winchester City) and Chris Flood (Basingstoke Town).
Since starting out at Basingstoke, Wright, 27, has done the rounds with the likes of Peterborough United, Crawley Town, Braintree Town, Forest Green Rovers and Salisbury City.
While on loan from Salisbury, his goals were instrumental in getting Eastleigh across the line in the 2013/14 Conference South title fight.
Prior to joining Maidenhead, he had a spell with Gosport’s neighbours Havant & Waterlooville.
