Hello and welcome to your morning Saints briefing where we have the latest on Ruben Selles's side and much, much more.

Happy Monday everyone, hope it's a great week ahead. For those who travelled up to Leeds, fingers crossed the return journey went a bit better than the game.

Can imagine most of you want to forget Saturday's dismal performance - and result - but for us masochists, we've got much more reaction from the Leeds defeat on the Daily Echo Saints page.

The pundits didn't hold back on Saints' display at Elland Road, with Micah Richards picking one individual out for particular criticism.

Meanwhile, how do Saints survival chances look after such a big loss? Here's a discussion of that admittedly not-very-fun subject.

Looking forward to the week ahead, Saints have a quick turnaround before hosting Grimsby in the FA Cup on Wednesday and it appears the perfect tonic to the weekend's result - at least on paper.

We'll be at Staplewood today to hear from Saints boss Selles before the Grimsby game with full updates set to come throughout the afternoon.

Then, 72 hours after the cup clash, Saints are back in action at St Mary's where they will face Leicester City in another huge game as Selles's side look to beat the drop.

That's all from us this morning but fingers crossed it's a happy week for all, full of two Saints wins. We can hope, at least!

If you want full, unrestricted access to all our Saints coverage and everything else the Daily Echo has to offer, we've got a deal on right now where you can get the first month of a subscription for just £1.

Another week. Let's have a good one.
