STOKE City manager Alex Neil could be without up to eight players as they welcome Saints to Bet365 Stadium.

The Potters picked up their first win in five Championship matches as they came from two goals down to Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Saturday.

The result lifts Will Smallbone’s former loan side to 16th in the table but comes in the same weekend as Russell Martin’s charges ended their losing run.

Saints beat promotion-hopefuls Leeds United 3-1 at St Mary’s after being beaten in four successive matches.

Neil is set to be without defenders Lynden Gooch, Michael Rose and Enda Stevens – all on the sidelines through injury.

Both Gooch and Rose started in Neil’s back four in Bristol on the weekend and represent a significant disruption to his plans.

Then in attack, Stoke City are likely to be missing all of Andre VidigalTyrese Campbell, and Ryan Mmaee tomorrow night as well.

Emre Tezgel and Lewis Baker remain longer-term absentees for Stoke but summer signing Wouter Burger though is reportedly available after a hamstring injury.

Saints are missing long-term absentee Juan Larios after a recent injury setback suffered in training takes his time out to at least a year.

Marin may be forced to rotate his starting XI due to fitness concerns, with three games in a week a regular staple in the Championship schedule.
