SAINTS boss Russell Martin has been nominated for December's Championship manager of the month award.
Martin, 38, oversaw Saints as they won 17 points out of a possible 21 across seven unbeaten games last month.
Their high points included resounding home victories against Blackburn Rovers (4-0) and Martin's former side Swansea City (5-0).
This marks the third consecutive time the retired defender has been shortlisted for the award, which he has never won in his managerial career.
Also on the list is former Saints assistant coach Danny Rohl, who enjoyed a successful December with Sheffield Wednesday.
The 34 year old helped the Owls claim four important wins as they look to stave off relegation to League One.
Sheffield Wednesday sit 22nd in the Championship ahead of facing Saints at St Mary's on Saturday.
No Southampton player has been included in the four-man shortlist for December's player of the month award.
The manager of the month winner will be announced on Friday, December 12 at 6:00 PM.
The winner will be selected by the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel, which is made up of former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.

Martin (Southampton), Rohl (Sheffield Wednesday), Enzo Maresca (Leicester City), Mark Robins (Coventry City).
