FORMER Saints winger Nathan Tella has won the Bundesliga title with Bayer Leverkusen, ending Bayern Munich's 11-year dominance.
The academy graduate joined the German side this summer for £20million and now adds a top-flight title to his list of accolades.
Leverkusen thrashed Werder Bremen 5-0 on Sunday to secure their first Bundesliga crown with five league games still to play.
Last season, Tella helped Vincent Kompany's Burnley win the Championship having been relegated the season prior.
The Nigerian international has played a bit part for Xabi Alonso this season, only starting six league games.
He has played a total of 1,179 minutes across the league, DFB Pokal and Europa League. Tella, 24, has scored six goals and provided three assists.
Bayer Leverkusen could yet complete a treble and remain unbeaten in all competitions this season.
Alonso's side face Kaiserslautern in the Pokal final and are 2-0 up on aggregate against West Ham in the Europa League quarter-final.
