SAINTS forward Adam Armstrong has been nominated for the Championship PFA Player of the Year award.
The 27 year old fired 24 goals and provided 13 assists in the league last season as Saints won promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.
It was his goal at Wembley Stadium that secured a 1-0 win over Leeds United, earning Southampton an immediate return to the top flight.
Armstrong was rewarded for his brilliant form last season with a new three-year deal at the club, keeping him on the south coast until 2027.
