SAINTS defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis insisted they will fight for the "staff and fans" when they face Arsenal this afternoon.

The England youth international was adamant Saints will not repeat their poor performance against AFC Bournemouth on Monday evening.

Saints found themselves 3-0 down at the break against Cherries before Harwood-Bellis pulled one back in the second half.

Aware of the challenge that awaits at the Emirates, the 22 year old believes Saints can pose Arsenal some danger if they act out their game plan correctly.

He said: "It's another game. I think if we do what the manager says, I'm pretty sure we'll have spells in the game that can't hurt them, just like we did at Newcastle.

"It's going to be tough, but I'm pretty sure there won't be a performance like ours in the first half (against AFC Bournemouth).

"We'll definitely come together as players and do it for the staff, do it for the fans and put in a performance that we can be proud of.

"It's a six-day turnaround, so we'll be bang at it this weekend. (Our second-half performance against Bournemouth) shows the character we've got in the dressing room.

"The gaffer spoke and we wanted to do it for him more than anyone, just to show that we're not rollovers.

"You can't roll us. We're going to put up a fight. That's us. We showed it last season with the way we went up.

"We can't settle for anything less than that. We can react like that to setbacks, and it just shows that we do have character in that squad, and we can bounce back from adversity."
