EASTLEIGH boss Richard Hill is considering ringing the changes for tomorrow's (Tuesday, 7.45pm) Vanarama National League trip to Torquay.
The Spitfires have a few tired bodies after back-to-back victories over Barrow and Chester which have all but banished fears of falling into the drop zone.
According to Hill, the players’ concentration levels have had to be pretty high too as they adapt to a new way of working under their fourth boss of the season.
Hill – brought back to the club as director of football/caretaker manager following the departures of Chris Todd, Ronnie Moore and Martin Allen – said: “It’s been a tough three-and-a-half weeks.
“Normally at this time of year we would be having ticking-over training sessions, but the ones we’re doing are full-blown sessions more like we’d have in August or September.
“The sessions have been quite tough.
“It’s not been anything to blow people away coaching-wise, but the players have had to be mentally involved, pay attention and work hard.
“The lads have had to play at their maximum in the last two games, so there are one or two bodies feeling a bit tired.
“They’ve deserved the two wins, they really have, but a couple of them are struggling.”
Ayo Obileye is on standby to replace defensive titan Reda Johnson who went off injured late in Saturday’s last-gasp 1-0 win at Chester, which hoisted the Spitfires to 12th.
Young left-back Chinua Cole could also be called into the starting line-up if Hill decides to rest Michael Green.
Doncaster Rovers’ loanee left-back Tyler Garratt remains with the Spitfires, but Cole – signed by Allen on contract from Staines Town in February - is likely to get the nod.
Torquay are fighting for their National League lives, hovering just a point above the drop zone.
“We’ll go there and try and get the win, if not come away with a point,” said Hill.
“By winning the last two games we’ve given ourselves some breathing space.
“It’s not about looking at how high we can climb now, it’s about accepting where we finish in the league.
“The pressure’s off. People shouldn’t feel the pressure now – it’s me that has to do that.”
Meanwhile, Scott Wilson paid tribute to the Eastleigh's defence for keeping back-to-back clean sheets after his 90th-minute winner at Chester.
He said: “Since the gaffer’s come in we’ve been working on a solid base.”
