SALISBURY City's Matt Tubbs has already proved his hunger for goals by banging in four in the Conference South this season.
But some people are never satisfied and the former Bolton Wanderers trainee, who scored 28 in 37 league and cup appearances last term, is already showing signs of frustration over the ones that got away.
Tubbs scored twice and had at least three other chances in Monday's 4-2 defeat at league leaders Histon which brought an end to the newly-promoted Whites' fabulous unbeaten start.
His nuisance value and eye for goal has already troubled many a Conference South defender, yet Whites boss Nick Holmes said: "He's probably more frustrated with himself at the moment than I've ever known him - and he'd no need to be.
"Tubbsy is Tubbsy. He's a constant threat to any defence, but he lives for scoring and feels he should have got more.
"He sets very high standards for himself and that's what I like to see in a player.
"He's already scored four for us and I bet he's played a part in half the other goals we've scored. It's important for him to know what a valuable team player he is."
Salisbury tonight (Friday, 7.45) entertain Welling United in a match brought forward to avoid clashing with England's Euro 2008 qualifier against Andorra tomorrow.
