SAINTS' new boy Mario Lemina revealed the shocking extent of his clash with West Ham midfielder Mark Noble during Saturday's dramatic Premier League victory.
Lemina, who became the club's record signing after joining from Juventus earlier this month, posted a picture of his leg after West Ham's skipper flew into him.
The picture shows a deep, bloody gash running down the Gabon international's shin.
In a feisty game which saw West Ham reduced to 10-men, after Marko Arnautovic was sent off for elbowing Saints' Jack Stephens, Saints were awarded two penalties.
However, referee Lee Mason opted not to punish Noble for the challenge on Lemina.
Along with the picture, Lemina wrote: "Difficult win but 3 points at home!! Thank you for the hosting."
Up next for Saints is Wolves on Wednesday in the second round of the League Cup followed by a trip to Huddersfield Town, who beat Newcastle United this afternoon.
