SAINTS legend Jason Dodd will draw on his experiences of relegation battles during his Dell days in a bid to save Eastleigh from relegation.
Dodd got off to a winning start as manager last night against VT in the Hampshire Senior Cup after sensationally replacing Paul Doswell in charge the day before.
And the former Saints skipper insists his players will be regularly "knackered" if they want to play their part in ensuring Eastleigh avoid the drop from the Nationwide Conference South.
"At Southampton I was never a world beater but I used to work hard," he said.
"These players are going come off knackered and, if they don't, they won't be going out on the field."
