FOOD buyers from hospitals, schools, universities, catering colleges and primary care trusts across the south-east will be finding out how they can source food and drink in a more sustainable way at a conference called Local Food on the Public Plate.
Organised jointly by county food group Hampshire Fare and Portsmouth City Teaching Primary Care Trust, the conference is backed by the Government Office of the South East and Sustain.
The event is being held on Thursday November 30 from 9.30am - 12.30pm in the Entertainment Hall at St James Hospital in Portsmouth. Contact Helen Trebble on 01962 846509 or e-mail helen.trebble@hants.gov.uk.
