A HAMPSHIRE mortgage company is looking to more than double in size by hiring 30 staff in the coming months.

Go Business Mortgages has launched a massive recruitment drive to prepare for the next phase of expansion at the Southampton firm.

Bosses predict they could need to hire as many as 100 further people, with on target earnings up to £75,000, by the end of next year if growth estimates prove accurate.

Currently the commercial mortgage business has between 15 and 20 employees at its Southampton International Business Park headquarters.

Such massive growth would echo the success of Go's founder Andrew Strode Gibbons' previous finance venture The Mortgage Lender. That company, which he co-founded with businessman Simon Kingsnorth before selling to Kensington Group in 2002, today employs 300 people in Whiteley.

Go is looking to hire qualified mortgage officers and experienced mortgage processors to drive its business.

Mr Strode-Gibbons said: "We have expanded quickly in the commercial mortgage market and the dedication and commitment of the existing staff means that we now need to recruit more people to take the company to the next level.

"What we are looking for are people who thrive in a fun and dynamic workplace, enjoy the rewards of their hard work and are ambitious, enthusiastic and motivated to join in our success story.'' The company is hosting a dedicated recruitment evening on Thursday, December 7 at its Southampton headquarters. For further information contact 0845 605 0275 or register online at gowithgo.co.uk.
