Ten new flats for students
TEN new student flats will be created in Southampton city centre.
Developer Big Sur has won permission to build a rooftop extension to buildings in High Street.
The 253 square metre new extension will provide ten studio flats, with the developer committed to building a “discrete and subtle” new building at the site.
Construction work may now begin over the coming months after city council planners ratified the proposals.
