MORE than three-quarters of the space at this year's Business South event has already been booked, organisers have revealed.
More than 100 of the 130 spaces at the business to business exhibition have been snapped up already, months ahead of the actual March 7 and 8 event.
Taking place at Saints' St Mary's Stadium, last year's inaugural event saw scores of local firms seal deals worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.
The money-spinning event, organised by Taunton based TJW Exhibitions, was the biggest business-to-business exhibition of its kind ever held in the region.
Organisers say that of the 2,000 visitors it attracted, more than 60 per cent were from small and medium sized companies and 80 per cent had buying power.
TJW's exhibitions manager Tim Waddington said: "We are absolutely delighted with the way Business South 2007 is going.
"More than half the bookings came in the first few months after our inaugural event last March because those who attended did so well that they immediately started re-booking for 2007. What makes the show unique is our format of bringing together under one roof businesses of all shapes and sizes from across a wide variety of industries and markets. Into the mix we throw a range of free business tools and networking opportunities which helps to attract thousands of executive visitors over the two days."
