A CRICKET fan will be enjoying a lot more of the classic sport thanks to a parting gift on his retirement.
Roger Hann has stepped away after 13 years at HWB Chartered Accountants in Chandler’s Ford and has been presented with a lifetime’s membership to Hampshire Cricket Club. He is a qualified cricket umpire and regular visitor to the Ageas Bowl, the West End home of Hampshire cricket.
The practice manager has spent his entire working life in the accountancy industry.
He took on the role of practice manager in 2001, working behind the scenes looking after administration and accounting for the firm.
Mr Hann said over the years there had been many changes in technology and that he would miss his colleagues. He plans to use his retirement to spend more time with wife of 30 years Christine.
