AN engineering consultancy has helped with the refurbishment and a new build at Jersey General Hospital.
Henderson Green, based in Southampton, was brought on board to undertake mechanical and electrical designs for three projects at the hospital.
These were for the creation of new oncology and dermatology departments and a new women’s health clinic.
Russ Pitman, Henderson Green’s managing director, said: “We have a long-standing relationship with Jersey General Hospital and we’re delighted that this work has now been completed and is in operation.
“Each of the three departments will bring both immediate and long- term benefits to the health of local people and it was a privilege to be able to put our extensive healthcare design expertise into play with these challenging and rewarding projects.”
