Tool and DIY giant Screwfix has opened its latest store at Southampton's Centurion Business Park.
The Southampton - Bitterne Screwfix store is part of the company’s growing network of over 530 stores nationwide, which the company claims puts 97 per cent of the UK population are within a 30 minute drive of a store.
Store manager, Victoria Shepherd said: “We chose to open a new store in Southampton to better meet the needs of the local tradespeople. Many of our new customers previously shopped with Screwfix at our Southampton - Millbrook and Eastleigh stores, so we’re delighted to bring Screwfix even closer to them for greater convenience."
Open seven days a week and from 7am Monday to Friday, the store also provides a click and collect service.
Registered charities in the area can apply for funding from The Screwfix Foundation by visiting the branch or logging onto the foundation's website.
