SOUTHAMPTON workers for professional services firm Ernst & Young have raised £8,500 to help disabled children.
Staff raised the cash by washing cars, running quizzes and holding corporate hospitality days.
The money raised has helped the Rose Road Association's "Wheels Appeal" - a bid to buy a wheelchair accessible car.
Julian Gray, senior partner at the Southampton office of Ernst & Young said: "The Rose Road Association plays an important role in the local community, providing specialist schooling, respite and information services to families with disabled children in Hampshire.
"The presentation of the wheelchair car is a real achievement to the generosity and hard work of colleagues, clients, friends and family."
The charity's fundraising manager Gary Thomasson said: "The generous support from organisations such as Ernst & Young enables us to continue supporting our young people in overcoming their challenges, and achieving their full potential in life."
