HE led the country to victory in the Second World War and was last week crowned the greatest ever Englishman in a St George's Day poll.
Now former Prime Minister Winston Churchill is being held up as a business guru.
A 44-year-old manager with 20 years' experience working for a number of large corporations in sales and marketing has drawn on Churchill's memoirs to elicit nuggets of business wisdom from the great man.
Stuart Finlay will be coming to Borders bookshop in Southampton on Saturday to promote his book What Would Churchill Do? Business advice from the man who saved the world.
"In the book, I take the golden nuggets of advice that Churchill gives to the reader of his Second World War memoirs and, referencing them against my own extensive business experience, convert the advice into practical modern suggestions to help the reader improve their business performance," he said.
Mr Finlay describes his work as an "historical business improvement book".
