SPINNERS from communications agency Remarkable have won the marketing account for the Rose Bowl and Hampshire Cricket.
The award-winning Winchester agency will now provide “strategic marketing direction” and generally raise the club’s profile after a four-way pitch.
Former agency Pixel Scene has been retained to look after the website.
The Rosebowl, in West End, is readying itself for the start of work on dramatic £45m expansion plans this year, which will see it host a full England Test match in 2011.
Stuart Robertson, commercial director at the Rose Bowl said: “We clearly have big plans in place and we are looking to prepare for the future.
“We felt we wanted to move our marketing and advertising to another level. We were keen to see what other thinking was out there.”
Nathan Davies-Pugh, creative director at Remarkable said: “The Rose Bowl and Hampshire Cricket is an extremely sought after account and we are delighted to be on board.”
