Celebrity eclipsed by Equinox
This is the first glimpse of Southampton’s new luxury cruise ship, Celebrity Eclipse – no, not the nearly-completed vessel in the background but the unglamorous collection of metal sections in the foreground.
The ship you can see in the picture almost ready to be floated out of the vast undercover construction berth in Germany is Celebrity Equinox.
The Equinox is due to make her international debut in Southampton next July and make her debut cruise to the Norwegian Fjords on July 31. Celebrity Eclipse will enter service in 2010.
