WEBSITES on everything from wildlife to Winchester have been honoured at the Daily Echo-backed seventh Hantsweb Awards.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust was awarded best special interest website while Visit Winchester scooped the best tourism site trophy.

Other winners included the Ellen MacArthur Trust and I Like Music, which was named the best website for young people at the awards, held at Winchester’s Intech Centre.

Organised by Hampshire County Council, the Hantsweb Awards aim to recognise the top websites across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. This year’s awards saw 1,400 nominations across twelve categories.
