INTEREST in this weekend’s crunch Six Nations rugby clash between England and Ireland is so great, Flybe is scaling up its service from Dublin to Southampton Airport.
The airline, the largest at Southampton, is switching to its higher capacity 118-seater Embraer jet for the route to handle the numbers of Irish fans heading in en route to Twickenham on Saturday.
Flybe’s Mike Rutter said: “We always try to respond quickly to the needs of our passengers and the aircraft upgrade from our usual 78 seat Q400 is a perfect example of this.”
