AQUA Care, the property maintenance services division of Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water, has boosted its drainage arm after seeing a big increase in work.
It has acquired a second vehicle to cope with the 1,500 drainage jobs Aqua Care now handles across an area of 300 square miles of Dorset and west Hampshire.
The drainage section has become an increasingly important part of Aqua Care, which was founded in 1998 and now employs 55 staff with a £3.3m annual turnover.
Mike Rhodes, commercial manager, said: "About a tenth of all the jobs Aqua Care undertakes are now to do with drainage. The figure has risen progressively since 1998 so a second vehicle was urgently needed."
