FIRMS are being urged to submit their bid to be considered amongs the county’s top companies ahead of the 2010 Hampshire business Awards closing date on June 11.

The Daily Echo-backed awards are a showcase for the strength and diversity of the business community in Hampshire and the judges are eager for businesses of all shapes and sizes to think about their success stories.

With the awards taking place in a testing business environment, many companies may feel that they don’t have much to shout about but judges are keen to highlight the key qualities they look for include resilience and adapting to challenges.

The small business community is also being encouraged to stop hiding its light under a bushel.

Stewart Dunn, managing director of the Daily Echo publisher Newsquest Hampshire, said: “The Hampshire Business Awards are an important date as they highlight Hampshire’s position as the number one place to do business.”

Entries are invited in three categories: the Bond Pearce Innovation Award, KPMG Company of the Year and the RBS Management Team of the Year. Businesses are free to enter as many categories as they wish.
