A HAMPSHIRE estate agents has tried its best for charity, raising £400 through a sponsored rugby pass.
George Burnand, a partner at the Winchester branch of estate agents Strutt and Parker, passed a giant rugby ball between around 55 businesses in Winchester.
The estate agents have been carrying out this exercise at all their locations nationwide to raise money for rugby charity Wooden Spoon, who help underprivileged children and young people.
The estate agents, based in Jewry Street, say they are expecting to get around £200 more from businesses that promised a donation. They also raised £750 for the charity through associate Andrea Griffin, who ran the Hursley 10k run in September.
