Tucked away among the narrow streets near Southampton's Spa Road in the 1960s and early 1970s stood the Adam and Eve Discotheque Club.
During its time the Adam and Eve was one of the most popular spots for an evening out, with customers attracted by some of the top names in pop of the time.
The hospitable manager, Colin Bull, was always around in the club to greet guests who came to see people such as the late, great DJ John Peel.
With decor including tiger striped wallpaper and drums and shields, the Adam and Eve, where also some of the staff wore leopard skin print dresses, was considered exotic 40 years ago.
