Plans for a new cafe at a former bank have been given the green light.
The old Barclays Bank in Winchester Road, Chandler's Ford is set to be transformed.
Plans have now been approved for the family-run and independent coffee chain, Josie's.
The eatery will serve its speciality coffee, tea, smoothies, and all-day breakfast.
The Independent Bistro currently has stores in Bishop's Waltham, Winchester, Petersfield, and Romsey.
Commenting on the application, Matt Clarke, a resident of Chatsworth Road, said: "Chandler's Ford needs something like this.
"My family and I would visit here regularly.
"I think it would be the kickstart Chandler's Ford needs to bring a bit of life back to the centre of town."
The site will be open Monday to Friday from 7.30am until 5pm and on weekends from 8am until 4pm.
The application was approved by an Eastleigh Borough Council planning officer earlier this month.
