n STAFF at a New Forest shop have developed a taste for success after picking up a prestigious gong.
Food For Thought in Ringwood has received the Brilliance in Business Award for outstanding customer service.
The shop, which sells regionally-sourced produce, has seen sales rocket since being set up just over a year ago in the town High Street.
Proprietor Jonathan Boswell said he was delighted to receive the New Forest District Council accolade, which was presented by authority leader Cllr Barry Rickman.
Jonathan said: “This award cements what has been a quite outstanding first year, and underpins my beliefs and passion for delivering excellence in the retail environment and not only demonstrates that we are doing the right thing, but also doing this thing right.”
It is not the first award the store has picked up this year. In July it was voted favourite independent retailer in a Wiltshire-based magazine.
It also picked up the prize for Best Trade Stand at the Ellingham Show when judges praised the company’s ethos and principals.
