Food producers in Hampshire are being invited to take part in one of the south’s leading food festivals at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth this summer.
The annual festival is one of the first events in the Hampshire Food Festival calendar and runs from Friday July 2 until Sunday July 4.
“Local producers are an integral part of the Food Festival here at Gunwharf Quays and we want to give as many Hampshire producers as possible the chance to be part of this year’s event,’’ said John Sackett, promotions and events manager at Gunwharf Quays.
“Our location is perfect for local producers to be involved and provides a great opportunity to showcase the wealth and quality of produce from the region.’’ Final plans for this year’s event are currently being finalised but confirmed highlights include an appearance by celebrated chef Raymond Blanc, a Wimbledon-style Champagne and strawberries marquee, a family area and the popular local producers market together with produce from around the world.
To be part of this year’s local producers market please contact John Sackett at Gunwharf Quays on 023 9283 6700.
