HAMPSHIRE Brewers Bowmans have announced that Warbler Ale, brewed to help the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust celebrate its 50th Anniversary Year in 2011, has been so popular that it is to continue to be brewed throughout 2012.
Award-winning Droxford brewer Bowmans, a member of county food group Hampshire Fare, developed the new ale as their special way of celebrating the Trust’s 50th year!
The beer is on sale on draft in pubs, in bottles in shops and in kegs for private parties right across Hampshire, and for every pint sold Bowmans make a donation to the Trust. So far Warbler Ale has raised over £1,000 towards Trust funds.
Warbler is described by Bowmans as “a conker coloured premium bitter with an initial sweetness, giving way to a dry chestnutty finish, smooth, full bodied & fragrant. No birds were harmed while making this beer!” Visit hwt.org.uk and bowmanales.
