AS we move into spring more and more seasonal local food is becoming available again.
Local food organisation New Forest Marque is making the most of the new season by holding an afternoon to showcase to the public and trade all the wonderful ranges of produce within the Forest with its first trade fair.
The afternoon will include tasters and the producers themselves will be there to talk about the products.
This will be a great opportunity to meet the people that make the produce and to see what is available locally.
Among the local producers showcasing their goods will be New Forest Fruit Farm, Roy Hunt Produce, Loosehanger Cheese, Fluffetts Eggs, Tailormade Desserts, Lyburn Cheese and Pondhead Farm.
The event is being held on March 28 from 2-4pm at the Beaulieu Road Hotel.
While the event is aimed mainly at local businesses, to encourage them to buy local produce, the public are also welcome.
Entry is free.
