Anime-brawlers don't get much better than the Naruto Shippuden series, and Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 looks to build on the franchise's success with the most extensive character roster of any game so far in the series.
For hardcore fans, this presents the opportunity to engage with a vast array of their favourite personalities from this slick cel-shaded universe, be they friend or foe.
Indeed, in story mode, players are thrown into a series of adventures set in the village of Konoha, and the game's fights are punctuated with large scale boss battles, including a confrontation with the gargantuan Nine-Tails.
It's all beautiful looking stuff and will delight Naruto-lovers, even re-introducing the exploration and free-roaming aspects that went AWOL in earlier iterations.
For newcomers, the 'average' depth in combat may prove to be a little disappointing, but it won't stop you getting sucked into this animated world whether you like it or not.
