IT’S the seasonal shindig that proves one of the hottest tickets in town each Christmas.
Southampton’s own Delays return to The Brook on Thursday December 19 for their traditional hometown festive gig – the band’s only show of 2013.
The indie rock foursome, the Gilbert brothers Greg (vocals and guitar) and Aaron (keyboard and vocals) alongside Colin Fox (bass guitar) and Rowly on drums, will perform all the favourites from their back catalogue, including Long Time Coming, Valentine and Nearer Than Heaven.
They have a host of hits to choose from with four album releases – Faded Seaside Glamour (2004), You See Colours (2006), Everything’s The Rush (2008) and Star Tiger, Star Ariel (2010) – under their belts.
New material and a tour will follow in 2014.
Tickets are on sale now.
