SOUTHAMPTON’S own Band of Skulls are to headline the Festival Republic stage at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals.
The riff-heavy trio, made up of Russell Marsden, Emma Richardson and Matt Hayward, join undisputed modern rock gods Queens Of The Stone Age, poprock superstars Paramore, the inimitable Arctic Monkeys and poppunk legends Blink-182 on an epic line up for 2014.
More than 50 additions have been made to the line-up this week. It includes the best of UK and world talent across rock, indie, dance, alternative, grime and hip-hop for the August bank holiday weekend.
Band of Skulls are currently enjoying success with their newly released latest album Himalayan.
